The Raketa Antarctica features a 24-hour dial housed in a striking blue case with a steel mesh bracelet. It runs on an original Raketa mechanical movement from the 1970s–1980s (exact year unknown), fitted into a brand-new case. These watches are completely new and ready to wear. Raketa is one of the most famous Soviet mechanical watch brands, produced since the 1960s at the Petrodvorets factory in Leningrad. The name reflected the USSR’s ambition in space exploration and scientific progress.
